The 4th of July is a day to celebrate The United States and enjoy the summer weather! This year is especially enjoyable as it is the 250th anniversary of The United States, giving even more reason to celebrate!
Communities across the whole country come together to celebrate, and the Capital Region is no different. There are many different events taking place from fireworks to parades all weekend long! During this time many places in the Capital Region are also seeing increased travel and tourism with events from Lake George to Albany, and even further.

Friday, July 3rd
Starting at 5:00 PM there will be a FREE Family-Friendly Concert & Fireworks at Mabee Farm Historic Site, 1100 Main Street Rotterdam Junction, NY 12150
Stillwater’s annual fireworks display at 9:00 PM on Brown’s Beach, 511 NY-9P Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
The racecourse will be running on Friday the 3rd, Saturday the 4th, and Sunday the 5th!
Saturday, July 4th
Fireworks, Live Music, Carnival Rides, a Parade, and more! Starting at Noon at The Clifton Commons, 16 Clifton Common Boulevard Clifton Park, NY 12065
Music and Fireworks at the State’s Plaza! Headliner Sugar Ray at 8:00 PM with various artists starting at 5:00 PM, followed by Fireworks at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
Live music, magic, and fireworks! Roger’s Memorial Park in Lake George has many festivities starting at 11:00 AM and ending with spectacular fireworks at 9:30 PM!
Celebrate summer and America’s 250th Birthday in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs with a festive, family-friendly fourth of July experience starting at 7:00PM!
