Memorial Day weekend also marks the unofficial start of summer in Upstate New York, bringing increased travel, backyard gatherings, lake trips, fireworks, and community events throughout Albany, Saratoga Springs, Lake George, Clifton Park, and the surrounding Capital Region.

Starts 10 a.m. at the EG Bowling Center on Columbia Turnpike.

Kiwanis BBQ event at Reilly & Son Funeral Home starting at 4 p.m.

May 24, 2026

Starts 10 a.m. at the corner of 85A and Circle Dr.

Opening ceremonies start 1 p.m., parade starts at 2 p.m. from the intersection of Washington and Forbes Avenues

At dusk at the Sullivan Jones VFW Post on Veterans St.

May 25, 2026

Starts 9 a.m. at Moss St. Cemetery. Parade starts 11 a.m. along Main St.

Starts 9 a.m. Starts intersection of Fenn and Allen Streets with ceremony following parade at Pittsfield Cemetery.

Starts 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of 8th Ave. and Main St., followed by ceremony at Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Starts 10 a.m. and proceeds east on NY43 to Sand Lake Veterans Memorial Park, ceremony following parade

Starts 10 a.m. at Watervliet High School with ceremony to follow at Veterans Memorial Park.

Starts 11 a.m. at Sullivan Jones VFW on Veterans St.

Starts 1 p.m. at Lansingburgh High School and ends at Powers Park with a ceremony and food.

Starts 1:30 p.m. followed by ceremony on courthouse steps at 2 p.m.
