Northeastern Insurance Raises $7,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

On Friday, October 9, 2026, Northeastern Insurance turned its Latham office pink for an afternoon dedicated to supporting the fight against breast cancer! Our first Insure Hope fundraiser brought together employees, local businesses, insurance carrier partners, customers, and community members for an afternoon filled with fun, generosity, and hope for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised $3,500 for the American Cancer Society. Northeastern Insurance matched every dollar donated, bringing our grand total to $7,000!
Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness & Research
Insuring Hope was organized as part of Northeastern Insurance President and CEO Michael Venezio’s participation in the American Cancer Society’s 2026 Men Wear Pink campaign, an initiative that raises funds and awareness for breast cancer research, prevention, and support.
Inside Our Insuring Hope Fundraiser
The event was filled with pink as guests enjoyed an afternoon of activities, local vendors, and fundraising in support of breast cancer awareness. The afternoon featured a special appearance by CDTA‘s iconic pink bus, our Wall of Hope honoring those affected by cancer, raffles, a silent auction, and interactive activities.
Guests also enjoyed delicious treats, specialty coffee, and offerings from local businesses, all while helping support the American Cancer Society.
